I am an engineer by trade, having completed my MSc in Biological Engineering in Intituto Superior Técnico in 2020. During my years of university I fell in love with brewing beer. I was President of Clube de Cervejeiros do IST and during that time I was able to pass on to others my passion for brewing. 

In 2020 I found my second hobby: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Even though I never though of myself as much of a fighter, learning to stay calm in really uncomfortable moments is a valuable skill and having someone trying to choke you or catching you in an armbar definitely qualifies as uncomfortable. 

I really enjoy trying new things, learning new crafts and living new experiences. Sometimes that means making mistakes and having to laugh them off.
